I Take Rampiril For High Blood Pressure - Recently Increased

I take Rampiril for high Blood pressure - recently increased dose from 1.25 to 2.50mg - once a day - and have developed a rash on my lower legs - between ankle and knee - one of the side effects listed is maculopapular rash- since the dose increased the rash is more pronounced and from time to time it is itchy.
I have tried using E45 cream but that seems to have a limited effect if any.I also take Levothyroxine 75mg and Amlodipine 10mg daily.
Should I persevere with the Rampiril or go back to my GP to change to another drug?
