I Take Atorvastatin. Recently There Was Something On Tv.......not Sure

I take atorvastatin. Recently there was something on tv.......not sure if it was a talk show, or maybe even a lawyer ad. A person on there was saying that they have been taking lipitor (not sure how long) and that they now have diabetes. I looked @ the side effects, it did say something about this being something slim, but it does have me worried. Should I be ??
