I Take Clonodine - .2mg 3 Time A Day. For

I take clonodine - .2mg 3 time a day. For some reason my doctor's office has not called in a refill request and I have not been able to contact my doctor. His office phone is not connecting and he's not answering his cell phone. I only have one week of medication left and I think it's important to start tapering in order to keep from having to stop cold. Could you please tell me the proper procedures to taper off the Clonodine so I have a better chance of surviving withdrawal?
