I Take Medicine That Causes Me To Be Constipated. I

I take medicine that causes me to be constipated. I normally have a bowl movement every other to every few days. The last (what I would consider normal for myself) bowel movement I had was about 7 days ago. I woke up a day or two after my bm with the urge to push but no matter how hard I tried to push I couldn't get the bm to move from my colon area into my rectum. Normally when I'm constipated it's just hard to push out of my rectum not where I can't push into my retum. So I called my Dr's nurse who told me to take miralax. About 12 hrs after I took miralax I was able to produce a bm. I was also eating lots of fiber foods. My bm was hard but not too bad. It was ok in size. Like a few medium size rocks. That happened on the early hrs of Thursday morning. So I thought, great I'm all better. Thursday afternoon I felt like I need to go again. With that urge to push, same as I had a few days earlier. I pushed out a few tiny pebble sized bm and haven't been able to produce a bm since. I have bubbling and gas in my stomach and intestines as well as this slight pain on my mid left side of my abdomin. I'm starting to get worried I have a bowel obstruction or some sort of serious problem. Any information or what u think may help me. Should I wait till the Dr's open on Monday or is it important to seek medial attention right away.
