I Take Methadone For Pain. I Have Had 3 Disks

I take methadone for pain. I have had 3 disks and a tumor removed from my spine and I have arachnoiditis. I take 20 to 40 mg. a day. My problem is whenever I take an antibiotic I have bad reactions and I am afraid to take any of them now. Are there any that do not react with the methadone. I feel that is causing the problem because the only drug I had problems with prior to taking the methadone was penicillin. Do you know of any that would not react negatively with the methadone because I had dental surgery yesterday and although the dentist did not prescribe an antibiotic I was going to call and ask him if I should be on one since it was a difficult extraction on an infected tooth.
