I Take Norethisterone Few Days Ago Because I Missed My

I take norethisterone few days ago because I missed my periods in 2 months, and I tested negative in pregnancy test. Before finishing the dose I see my periods... It is in 5th day and still flowing. As I started bleeding I stop the medicine. I am a right on stopping the dose? And after this period my cycle Will be normal or I will have take any medicine? I am planning to get pregnancy, can I start to count the circle the first day of this period?
