I Tested Negative On A Rapid Strep Test On Monday

I tested negative on a rapid strep test on Monday but the throat came back positive today. My doctor didn't treat me with anything yesterday and I was ok with that but I went to work after I left her office and went today. Did I just spread strep all over my work place? I honestly feel ok, no fevers, no headaches only a slightly scratchy throat. I don't even have white spots on my tonsils. Normally when I get strep I am sick for days and feel completely awful with fever, chills, can barely swallow, tonsils the size of golf balls and their covered in white spots. I just started the antibiotic at 3pm but I have a funeral tomorrow morning, is it safe to go?
