I Think I Have A Bone Spur. It Has Hurt

I think I have a bone spur. it has hurt for a long time, I work freight and am on concrete floors all night, every night. Pain was largely located on the inside of the heel, but today it seems to be the whole heel, and even into the achilles tendon. I am seeing the pa tomorrow and have called off work tonight. what can I expect? Have I done more damage by working on it ?
