I Think I May Have Gotten An Infection Through One

I think I may have gotten an infection through one of my wisdom teeth. it seems to have gone away but now I'm having pain just below my adams apple. it would seem my thyroid is possibly inflamed? I don't have medical insurance right now and don't have the money to just pay for a doctor, what sounds like expensive testing, and then prescriptions as well. how likely is it that my wisdom tooth infection spread to my thyroid? what can I do about this and is there a way to prevent what sounds like a protracted process of pain and turmoil potentially going on for months. I don't have the luxury of the time, patience, or life circumstances allowing for that.
