I Think I Need Braces Because People Tell Me I

I think I need braces because people tell me i have an overbite but I havent visited my orthodontist in over 2 years because he has not called for an apointment which he said he would. My teeth are extremely "big" and therefore there is no room for other teeth growing in from what I heard from him a couple of years ago.
