I Thought I Had A Hyatial Hernia But I Had

I thought I had a hyatial hernia but I had a camera put down my throat the Dr disc some swelling but no hernia. I believe the pain i feel is the xiphoid process. It is very uncomfortable when sitting, exercising, and sleeping depending on postion. Also have Gerd on occasion and pains. Any suggestions
