I Thought I Had A Uti So I Had A

I thought I had a uti so I had a phone conference with my np and she had me come do a urinalysis and called about a half hour later to confirm my uti. Once the culture grew out someone else called to tell me that I probably don't have a uti, that my cultures came back with group b strep. She asked me twice if I was positive I'm not pregnant and said come in ab consult my primary. What does this mean? Can this go untreated? Does gbs only happen in pregnant women? I'm a healthy active 25 year old
