I Threw Up In My Sleep Last Night And This

I threw up in my sleep last night and this morning I felt a ball coming out of my neck into my mouth everytime I breathe it rises up and trys to come out my mouth but I keep on swallowing it so I can stay in my neck I can't spit out my mucus from my neck instead of spitting out mucus the ball Rises up out of my neck into my mouth I'm trying to understand what it is the ball is it my Adam's apple
