I Took Allegra For My Chronic Hives. It Worked For

I took Allegra for my chronic hives. It worked for me fora few months but not it is less effective. I switched to Ebastine in hope for better result. Unfortunately Ebastine did not work for my hives at all. Can I stop Ebastine and go back to Allagra? I heard I have to stop Ebastine. I that case, can I taking Allagra while I am reducing and stopping Ebastine?
