I Took Cipra About A Month And A Half Ago,

I took Cipra about a month and a half ago, one thousand milligrams a day for five days until I realized my fingers and hands were hurting, went back to doctor to be put on something else. The pain seems to be getting worse, especially at night. I am taking alieve at night but that does not help much anymore. What can I do about this and how long will it last?
