I Took Malerone (was In South Africa) For 8 Days
I took Malerone (was in south africa) for 8 days and stopped 3 days ago. I had no symptoms during the course of taking the drug. Yesterday I started developing a rash on my arms and it has spread to my legs and the rest of my arms and is now moving to my trunk.
I went to a walk in clinic and was prescribed apo-hydroxyzine, hydroxysinehcl 25 mg apx (oral for 10 days if necessary) and a topical compound -menthol 0.25% + camphor o.25% in bethamethasone valerate 0.1% cream
Will the oral antihistamine that I am now taking get rid of the rash? And do you think this rash is a side effect of the malerone - I have no other symptoms and do not take any other medications.
