I Took Nucynta ER For Several Years For Severe Pain.

I took Nucynta ER for several years for severe pain. After a while I started having phantom smells, the dr thought I was having seizures to cause them. I had an EEG, an MRI, seen an ENT, and a neurologist. I could not get an explanation.
The pain clinic changed me from Nucynta ER to Morphine several weeks later I realized I'm not having phantom smells.
Has this ever been seen as a side effect of Nucynta ER
