I Took Am Taking 1 Mg Estradiol Daily And 2.5

I took am taking 1 mg estradiol daily and 2.5 medroxyprogesteron the first 10 days of the month. I have gained 15 lbs in the past year. I took the combipatch a few years ago and I don't think that it caused weight gain for me. What is the difference and should I go back on the combipatch?
