I Took Atenol For Years Then Never Been One To

I took atenol for years then never been one to consume sugar or products of sugar. In 07 I was given a xlg dose of predisone and soon after I was admitted to the er with glucose of 796. In 2013 I had a stroke with a heart cath performed. I am currently on Losartan 50mg plus insulin and metformin er. Which HBP medicine would be best for me. All bloodwork comes back normal. Even when I had the stroke. Thanks
