I Took My 10yo Daughter To A New Pediatrician For

I took my 10yo daughter to a new pediatrician for Sharp stomach pains. He suspects a virus and ordered a cocktail of lidocaine, benadryl and maalox. She is supposed to drink 15ml every 8 hours. I have never heard of drinking lidocaine. Is that safe for her? He was a very young doctor that we had never met before so I'm not 100 percent confident in him yet.
