I Took My Son To The Doctors Office On Yesterday.

I took my son to the doctors office on yesterday. They diagnosed him with having strep throat, he also had a rash on his face in which they said resulted from the fever. Today he feels better but has an itchy rash throughout his body. Should I treat it with cream, or do I need to take him back to the doctor?
