I Took The Depo Shot In November For The First

I took the depo shot in November for the first time and I am in my 40s...took it to stop bleeding for one month-I think I am in perimenopause...this depo shot caused weight gain and I feel weird and breast pain tenderness . Are these symptoms normal...
will they go away if I stop taking the shot and what can I do now to make the pain better? Plus I have not had a period since the shot.
