I Treated For Scabies (permethrin) On July 31 And August

I treated for scabies (permethrin) on July 31 and August 6-7; also treated scalp (perm) on
Aug 7 and 14. Then was treated with 15 mg ivermectin on Sept. 9 and 15 mg ivermectin on
Sep.16. because of a trip I had scheduled and was scared of passing it on. It is now Sept. 29 and I still have lots of pin pricks and crawling sensations in many places on my body. My dr. says some patients "itch for months" after treatment, but this is not an itch--it is pricking and crawling. I am terrified of contagion. I also have dermatitis herpetiformis when I eat gluten. I wondered if this should be going on this long or if I have a hyper reaction to the mite remains and meds. Please advise me what to do. My doc has been very kind and patient, but I am afraid he will think I am imagining this, and I am not.
