I Tried Using A Tampon For The First Time. It

I tried using a tampon for the first time. It hurt a little while I inserted it. I think I didn't push it all the way up and when I took it out my ears stared to buzz. I sat down and everything went black. When I was conscious again I was sweating cold and I had a horrible pain below my stomach. What happened?
