I Tripped Over A String In My Garden This Morning.

I tripped over a string in my garden this morning. I fell to my side, but landed on my wrist. It was about 1/2 hour before I could use my hand again , but it hurts pretty bad. It doesn't look bad, or swollen, but using my hand to pick up anything is painful. Really painful. I am putting ice on it, and I took Advil. Should I go to my doctor or wait and see how it feels overnight?
