I Use Regular Contacts. Over The Last Year, Occasionally I

I use regular contacts. Over the last year, occasionally I have starbursts, sometimes in both eyes which distorts my vision. No visible cloudiness although I'd been advised that I had cataracts starting a couple of years ago but no need to have surgery yet. These episodes can last a minute or longer and when I am working the words are all distorted on the "inside" but the peripheral words I can see. Any thoughts?
