I Used Monistat That Saturday Night And I Had My

I used Monistat that Saturday night and I had my pap smear done Monday morning. My results came back abnormal and they tested for HPV and the test came back positive. Could it have been a false positive or should i wait until they look further into my cervix before I panic?
