I Used Rubbing Alcohol As Mouth Wash, And It Burned

I used rubbing alcohol as mouth wash, and it burned my gums. Its been a few days and all but one pretty big spot has gone away. Its white, and very sore. I've been brushing 4-5 times a day and rising with warm salt water and peroxide. Anything else I should be doing?
