I Wake Up During The Night (not Very Night) With

I wake up during the night (not very night) with stomach ache and lot of saliva production which lasts maybe a minute. last night I had 4 episodes. I had previous nights with only 1 episode. can a doctor point in a direction here? it might be important to point out that I am diagnosed with IBS.
