I Wake Up Every Morning With This White Thick Film

I wake up every morning with this white thick film to my inner corners of my mouth. Also in the corners of my mouth my skin is torn and opening my mouth wide is difficult. The white film will wipe off with my wash cloth but I have to careful not to irritate the cracked areas in the corners of my mouth. What could this be.
