I Wake Up With Numbness In My Right Hand Every

I wake up with numbness in my right hand every morning. I can't grip and there is a severe pain on my fingers as well . What may be the reason and treatment ? I went to GP and he checked my X-ray of ribs and spine. Everything seems alright no medicine is prescribed but my problem is still here. Please tell me what should I do ?
