I Want To Know If My Symptoms Are Allergies. I'm

I want to know if my symptoms are allergies. I'm 64 years old and have never had allergies before. I live in North Texas. Been here 7 years. In the middle of the night I wake up and my throat is full of mucus. Hard to swallow. In the morning, I blow my nose and it's gooey and yucky. And I feel like I need to cough up flem. Then as the day goes on, I'm fine. This has happened the last 3 nights. My husband said I was snoring last night and this is unusual for me. Thanks.
