I Want To Know What Would Cause Me To Feel

I want to know what would cause me to feel faint while cooking over a hot stove? I had to go and sit down and I drank some water. I felt a little better and tried to go back to finish the sauce but it happened again. I had to sit down. I eventually took a stool and sat on it while I stirred the sauce.
