I Was I The Hospital Last Night With Right Abdominal

I was I the hospital last night with right abdominal pain they did a ct and said it was appendicitis and called surgeon. He wasn't convinced because my wbc was normal. He wants me to see my ob doctor. The ct results said there was an inflammatory mass adjacent to the tip of the cecum with stranding extensions into the soft tissue. I was wondering what else this could be and why send me to my ob
