I Was At The Docs A Few Days Ago Because

I was at the docs a few days ago because I have a hard lump type on th top of my latteral muscle that's painful.to touch how ever she said it nothing to worry about it was a apn not a doctor sorry,but I have noticed what feels like a long vein running down the outside of my ribs on right side and now my ribs are painful to touch all the way down I'm worried do I need to go a-e?
