I Was At The Pool Yesterday And Was In The

I was at the pool yesterday and was in the water with my arms behind me spread out and holding on to the edge with a float under my knees. Last night I noticed the bottom of my left arm is numb and still is today. The top of the bottom of my arm is not numb, just underneath. What could this be?
