I Was Awakened By Acid Reflux. It Was So Bad

I was awakened by acid reflux. It was so bad it come into my throat and woke me up. How can I get rid of this burning in my throat. It feels like when your throw up the bile from your stomach. What can I do for immediate relief. I take generic nexium every night. It was my birthday party last night and ate more then usual at one time and had some wine.
