I Was Bit By A Dog A Couple Months Ago

I was bit by a dog a couple months ago on the nail bed/cuticle. It did not go through but is now swollen. I did try cutting it open but nothing happened at that time. Now it is very tender and a clear sticky liquid is coming out. I have put antibiotic ointment on it and it seems to help for a while but then gets tender again and more fluid comes out. Should I go to the doctor for this? I really don't want to if I do not have.
