Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I was bite by a dog on my calf squeezing my muscle. I had two very deep punctured wounds. I went to the doctors the next day and got antibiotics. It’s 3 weeks and the punctured wounds are now just healing closed. I have some very sore large hard lumps around and between the wounds. I feel the lumps are getting more sore and the front of my calf feels a little strange (numb-ish, tingling, discomfort). I am not sure if I Am feeling them more because the swelling went down and more active or if something is wrong. Is this normal to have hard painful lumps around punctured wounds? Should I go back to the doctors?
