I Was Bitten By A Tick That May Have Been

I was bitten by a tick that may have been on my shoulder blade for 5 days, it was engorged and may be a deer tick (I have the tick). I developed an itchy rash near my crotch area, that moved around my waist , under my breast, now itchy hands and feet. This has been going on for about 5 days. To complicate, I was in Florida and swam in some warm springs to see manatees on the west coast. I am wondering if a tick bite or infection ever causes these symptoms or could I have gotten something in the water? Taking Benadryl reduces the rash and itching temporarily.
