I Was Bitten By Something Near The End Of My

I was bitten by something near the end of my little finger on the back near the finger nail and about two hours the heel of my right foot was in severe pain and swelled instantly to about the size of a golf ball and in about an hour the swelling and pain went away instantly.it has been one and a quarter years and sometimes the heel still swells. Why ?
