I Was Born With Brown Toenails I'm Am Now 50

I was born with brown toenails I'm am now 50 never had any major health issues other than being on blood pressure medication for the past 6 years.......what would a dermatologist be able to do at my age to lighten my nails? I barely woke sandals because I didn't want people to see my toes
