I was born without a parathyroid gland and I take oscal and cailtrol to help manage the calcium and vitamin D. Well I neglected to see a doctor since 2009 just take my meds and got over the counter Vit D . Well I made and appointment scared of what they might find because I was hard headed and wanted to be normal. My Dr had a ultrasound of my kidneys. I looked on my chart and the results were Cronic kidney disease stage 3. I am so scared right now. I really need some help with this.
