I Was Born Without Tonsils And I Know Because I

I was born without tonsils and i know because i had a throat problem when i was 3 and the doctor saw that they wornt there and my dentist saw when i was seven and both checked as they believed that it was impossible. I am now 14 and only started wondering about it now as everyone i know says that it is impossible and neither of my parents took me to have them removed. So why does everyone think its impossible?
