I Was Breathing 3rd Hand Smoke Around A Back Yard

I was breathing 3rd hand smoke around a back yard smoke pit and barbeque. My hand touched a jar that was hot and burned my fingers. Now I smell smoke when I use crayons to color pictures. It doesn't happen with chalk or if it has recently rained, but my patio umbrella stopped opening around the same time. Do you think it means anything?
