I Was Circumcised Last Week. Although The Healing Is Looking

I was circumcised last week. Although the healing is looking a bit normal as confirmed by the surgeon but the stitches are irritating as soon as it touched and then it pain for a few moment. My question is whether this stiches will be absorbed by the skin or it will start breaking. And pls tell the time duration for either case
