I Was Cleaning My Belly Button With My Finger Nail

I was cleaning my belly button with my finger nail when I struck a bit of the nub and then almost immediately my whole body started to tingle. I can feel the gas gurgling in my tummy and near my bum. When I try to expel the gas my body goes tingly agains. Did I hit a nerve while cleaning my belly button?
