I Was Cleaning My Ears When I Knocked The Ear

I was cleaning my ears when I knocked the ear bud into my ear by using my arm, my eyes started to water, and my ear started to throb, as I finally got the gut to pull the ear bud out there was blood on it. After about half an hour it's now started to ring down my ear it is still bleeding a little bit. Do I need to visit my gp or will it heal on its own?
