I Was Cleaning Out My Daughters Ear When She Moved

I was cleaning out my daughters ear when she moved and I stuck the q-tip to far down in her ear and she started screaming that I jammed it to far and it hurt we waited a while and looked again and now it has some really red blood down in her ear , what could this be?
