I Was Cooking Chicken Wings In The Oven Which Was

I was cooking chicken wings in the oven which was in plastic tray when I went to remove them from the oven the tray was half melted. The wings looked ok but is it dangerous to eat the wings as it didn't look like it had damaged the food. Can you die from eating food of a non cook able plastic tray?..
